In game, akuma holds back on purpose during all of his fights to challenge himself. the reason why akuma can't do any of those insane feats like island busting is because i said it in the description: as he appears in the game. It's really even though.ĮDIT: lemme clear something up. also, nightmare's blows hit alot harder and i don't think nightmare will be seriously injured except by akumas half circle back hadoken (the fiery one), Heavy punch/EX Goshoryuken, and the ultra. the extra reach and direct power of that sword should be enough to allow nightmare to truck through akuma's attacks. Akuma also has more agility because he's a leaner build and not held down by 300 pound armor. However, Akuma has the ability to keep his distance with hadoken and aerial hadokens. ![]() Nightmare KILLS Akuma in terms of raw power, reach, and armor. I think this is an interesting matchup because we have 2 different fighting styles that are both very effective.
